Summer is the second season in the game. Unlike the other seasons, it does not require a specific spell to summon; instead, only a single Spirit Flame is needed.

The season begins on a somber note, with the entire village gathered in the cemetery around the now-deceased Hazel's gravesite. After a cutscene in which Tara shares a few tearful words about her grandmother, the villagers remain standing around in the lower Town Square area, giving Tara the opportunity to go around and speak to everyone. Several characters give her gifts along with their condolence (for example, Chicken Soup from Sophia). All stores remain closed for the rest of the day.
